Financing Your Education
|
We are known for our academic excellence, the quality of its faculty and students, and the beauty of our campus. After evaluating these attributes, many prospective students and their families recognize the benefit of investing in a St. Andrews education. At the same time, we recognize there may be some apprehension about college costs. Every year we commit significant resources – including scholarships, grants, loans, and campus employment – to meet student financial need. In most cases, state and federal funds supplement grant or scholarship support. This combination of awards can significantly reduce a family’s out-of-pocket expense. All students are encouraged to file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) adding the 001540 school code to ensure that our financial aid office receives a copy electronically. We are committed to assisting students and their families in meeting their financial obligations to the institution. Admissions decisions are based on applicant academic and personal qualifications, not on ability to pay. And, every year, financial aid is awarded to approximately 90% of our students. The goal of the Office of Financial Aid is to help students make their education affordable. For more information, contact the Office of Financial Aid by phone at 910-277-3953. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday- Friday. |
