IDA Region I 2/08/10

Hosted by Virginia Tech

Andrea Tito earned 74% in Training Level Test 3 to win her division and the title of High Point Rider at the IDA Show at Virginia Tech. Tito rode Tech's horse Tudor to a convincing victory beating Virginia Intermont's Brian Myers into second place with a 71.2%.

Teammates Donna Fowble 3rd in Training Level Test 1 with 68.3% and Jessica Cusaac 5th in Intro Test B with 64.5% helped carry the SAPC team into 4th place.

Lauren Parker riding as an individual for SAPC earned 5th place in Training Level Test 1 with 63.9%.

New team member Casey Curtis had a promising ride at her first ever dressage show riding in the first level division. Catch riding a strange horse at this level is a true test of a rider's horsemanship and feel. Casey is off to a great start.

Student coach for the IDA team, Greta Friesen, has worked hard to help prepare our riders to compete in the most competitive IDA region in the country. Greta has shared her knowledge with her fellow riders and has helped develop them as riders and competitors.
