Open Mic at St. Andrews Forum
Laurinburg, N.C. – The St. Andrews Presbyterian College Writers’ Forum will hold an Open Mic on Thursday beginning at 8 p.m. in Orange Main Lounge.
“One of the trademarks of our forums is the opportunity for our students and community members to share their work before their peers,” said Ron Bayes, St. Andrews writer-in-residence. “The Open Mic sessions allow for these readings to be the main attraction.”
Student host Jeni Brett will maintain a sign up list for order of reading. It is requested that readings be kept to 5-7 minutes to allow for all interested parties to have a chance to read.
Free and open to the public, the Writers’ Forum begins at 8 p.m. in Orange Main Lounge on the campus of St. Andrews Presbyterian College.
