Tennessee based poet coming to Writers' Forum

Laurinburg, N.C. - Poet Whit Griffin will be the featured reader at the St. Andrews Writers' Forum Thursday evening.

Free and open to the public, the Forum begins at 8 p.m. in Orange Main Lounge.

The Memphis native studied poetry at St. Andrews, Bennington College and Brooklyn College. He was an intern for and an assistant to Jonathan Williams' Jargon Society. He has studied with Denver Butson and Theodore Enslin. Griffin co-founded Tight magazine with Andrew Hughes. Skysill Press published his first full-length collection of poetry, Pentateuch, in 2010.
