Community writers take center stage for Open Mic at St. Andrews |
Laurinburg, N.C. - Community writers are invited to share their work at the St. Andrews Writers Forum Thursday evening. Free and open to the public, the Forum begins at 8 p.m. in Orange Main Lounge. "This tradition allows for all writers to have a chance to share with a community of their creative peers," said Dr. Ted Wojtasik, faculty advisor of the forum. Readers are asked to keep their selections to 5-7 minutes to allow for all interested to share. Student host for fall semester, Patrick Doyle, will keep a sign up list. For more information about the Writers' Forum, creative writing at St. Andrews or the St. Andrews College Press, call 910-277-5310 or email press@sapc.edu. |
