St. Andrews University recognizes terms of service

Laurinburg, N.C. - St. Andrews University recognized 19 faculty and staff members during the annual Faculty and Staff Recognition Program held Friday afternoon.

“The faculty and staff members recognized today have served our students and the larger Laurinburg community with extraordinary dedication and creativity throughout their careers at St. Andrews,” said President Paul Baldasare. “The University is incredibly fortunate to have such gifted and devoted employees.” 

Honored for 45 years of service were Ron Bayes, Rooney Coffman and Dr. George Melton.

Slyvester Moody was recognized for 30 years of service with Carolyn Oxendine honored for 25 years.

Glenn Batten, Jackie Dwelle, Dr. Joe Harris, Stevan Hernandez, Robert Holt, Jim Miles and Ellen Wright were honored for 15 years of service.

Recognized for 10 years of service were Joe Bunting, Melissa Hopkins, Sandra Johnson, Larry Kelly, Dr. Jim Lankford, Dr. Rona Leach-McLeod and Tom Waage.
