In their own words...
"Living on campus is a life experience I have learned so much from. We eat together, watch TV together, study together, and do absolutely nothing together. When I go home for breaks, it's like I'm leaving my second family!"

Open Mic at the Writers’ Forum on Thursday

Laurinburg, N.C. - Continuing a long standing tradition, the St. Andrews University Writers’ Forum will hold an Open Mic this Thursday beginning at 8 p.m. in the Ronald H. Bayes Writers’ Forum Lounge in Orange Residence Hall of the University campus.

“This tradition allows for all writers to share with a community of their creative peers,” said Dr. Ted Wojtasik, faculty advisor of the Forum. “We invite poets, musicians, fiction writers, and non-fiction writers from the area to come out to share their talent.”

Individuals interested in sharing their work are invited to sign up the night of the reading with student host Jennifer George. Readings are limited to between five and seven minutes to allow for all readers to have an opportunity to share.

The final Open Mic of the semester will take place on Nov. 14.
