Financial Aid Checklist

_______    Filed FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) FAFSA: St. Andrews FAFSA Code 001540

_______    Received financial aid award letter from St. Andrews

_______    Mail, email, or fax back financial award letter and other important forms

                  Examples: (You may not use all of these)

    • NCLTG form (North Carolina Legislative Tuition Grant)
    • Direct Stafford Loan Request Form (Student loan)
    • Direct Parent PLUS Loan Request Form (Parent loan)
     

_______    Complete Master Promissory Note for the Student loan and/or Parent loan at www.studentloans.gov

_______    Complete entrance loan counseling. (Needed for a student loan. If the student is not taking a student loan then entrance loan counseling is not necessary.) www.studentloans.gov

Please note that if you have not accepted your financial aid awards on your award letter and returned it to the Financial Aid Office, then your financial aid will NOT be included in your statement (bill) from the Business Office.
