| "I will always be indebted to SAU for the excellent academic and social preparation that launched me into graduate school and a professional career. It was in graduate school at a major university that I first realized just how well I had been educated at SA. I was a very average student there but went on to earn 2 master's degrees and a Ph.D. with no problem. I grew up in a very small South Carolina town and had little exposure to the 'outside' world. The ability to think critically, utilize resources and find my own place in the world was realized at SA. It changed my life." (2008) |
