"Long before I attended St. Andrews as a student it was a huge part of my life. My father was a psychology professor here for 35 years. Thus, I was out here for theatre productions, camps, parties, entertainment, etc. I have always been surrounded by St. Andrews' love. As a student I became globally aware of other cultures, avenues, and beliefs. My rigorous training at St. Andrews prepared me for the endless papers I wrote in graduate school. Today as Registrar I am constantly calling upon those lessons learned. St. Andrews taught me empathy, tolerance, confidence, and pride; it gave me a foundation to which I attribute my success."
