LAURINBURG, N.C.—St. Andrews Presbyterian College has three women’s lacrosse seniors that will cap their collegiate careers in the IWLCA/Under Armour North-South Senior All-Star games. Lady Knights’ attacks Kelsey Binggeli (Newark, N.Y.) and Courtney Ross (Newark, N.Y.) will join goalkeeper Eryn McCaffrey (Cicero, N.Y.) in the NCAA Division II game scheduled for Saturday, June 13 at the United States Training Center in Downingtown, Pa., as part of Champions’ Cup Tournament.

The trio of SAPC seniors played in all 19 games in 2009 together and had outstanding careers in a Royal Blue & White uniform. Binggeli was second on the team with 60 points including 36 goals and 24 assists. Binggeli tallied 226 career points including 168 career goals. McCaffrey finished her final season ranked fourth in the nation with a .529 save percentage. McCaffrey holds almost every Lady Knights goalie record including 880 career saves and 28 career wins. Ross scored 10 goals and dished out six assists in her senior season for 16 points. Ross, who totaled 35 points in her two seasons at St. Andrews, ranked second on the team with 35 draw controls in her senior campaign.

Forty women, including NCAA Tournament MVP Jen Pritchard, comprise the teams for the Division III game, which will take place at 12:00 noon. Colby’s Karen MacCrate Henning will coach the north team while Lauren Paul from Franklin & Marshall will coach the south team. Three student-athletes from Franklin & Marshall will team up with three student-athletes from Salisbury as the national finalists join forces in their final collegiate lacrosse game.

Thirty-five women have been selected for the Division II game, including Adelphi’s Rachel Ray, who was named the 2009 NCAA Tournament MVP. West Chester placed four on the south team, more than any other school across all three divisions. The north team will be coached by Molloy’s Tom Campolettano and Adelphi’s Joe Spallina while Shaun Williamson from Belmont Abbey will lead the south team.

The Division I game, which will start at 2:00 pm, features 43 women. Boston University’s Liz Robertshaw will coach the north while Maryland’s Cathy Reese will mentor the south squad.
