New Student Orientation August 21 - 27

Please Note: Some events may change. International students, Honors students, Fall student-athletes, Equestrians and Bagpipe Band members may have additions to this schedule. A detailed final copy will be available at Orientation check-in.

 

Wednesday, August 21: International Students & Equestrians Only

• Check-in and Move-in  8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• VISA Documentation  1 p.m.
• Rider Placement  8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• ID Cards 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• Student Social Event 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Thursday, August 22: ALL New Students

• Check-in and Move-in  8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
• Clearance and Student Information Sessions 1 p.m.
• Family Information Sessions 1 p.m.
• Class Photo 4:15 p.m.
• Opening Convocation 5 p.m.

  Recommended dress for Opening Convocation: Ladies - skirt, dress or nice slacks. Gentlemen - slacks, shirt and tie. Opening Convocation begins with a walk across the Causewalk so sensible footwear is recommended.

• President's Picnic 6 p.m.

  NOTE: This is the last scheduled event for family members.
