In their own words...
"Living on campus is a life experience I have learned so much from. We eat together, watch TV together, study together, and do absolutely nothing together. When I go home for breaks, it's like I'm leaving my second family!"
- Jess Cutler, Class of '10, from FL

Gender Justice Club

The Gender Justice Club is an organization that focuses on involving the St. Andrews Community with activities related to gender issues. We participate in a number of volunteer activities with the Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Center of Scotland Country. We coordinate with Scotia Village to host an annual Women’s History Forum. We help organize and sponsor an annual Candlelight Vigil to support Sexual Assault Awareness Month. We also help sponsor speakers on campus, raise funds or supplies for a variety of organizations such as a children’s home in Mozambique, sponsor movie nights, and collect donations of clothing and goods for local charities. Everyone is welcome to participate with any of the club activities. If you are interested in being on the club mailing list, please contact Betsy Dendy (dendybet@sapc.edu) or our student leader Colleen Courtney (courtneycr@sapc.edu).
