In their own words...
"As a first generation Latin American, it was different coming here, but I soon realized that I could just be me. St. Andrews is a school for people who like small classes and a close community."
- Anthony Fernandez, Class of '10

“The professors, classes and experiences at St. Andrews University helped prepare me for my teaching career.  I was able to take the skills that I learned and apply them to real life situations in the classroom.  Since my classes were at night, I got the opportunity to be a substitute teacher and an assistant during this time.  These opportunities also helped prepare me for teaching in a classroom.  The professors at St. Andrews were always so friendly and helpful.  You were able to contact them even after class and they would help you in any way.  My time at St. Andrews was a wonderful experience.  I would recommend St. Andrews to others who want the same college experience that I had. .” (2008)

Stephanie went on to receive a M.Ed. from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2007.

“Stephanie Marsh is a dedicated teacher who assists every child in going above and beyond their potential.  She teaches her class with enthusiasm and unwavering energy and creates lessons in which every child enjoys learning.”
